Message Settings (2-6)
This menu item includes several options to adjust the message settings.
Press (or ) key and the following options will display on the screen:
Message Center (2-6-1)
This function stores the phone number of the message center for sending
your text messages. The message you send is transmitted via this
message center to the receiver.
Press (or ) key and enter the message center number provided by
your network service provider. When completed, press (or ) key
to confirm.
Valid Period (2-6-2)
You can set the time that your text messages are stored at the message
center while the message center attempts to deliver the message.
Press (or ) key and use (or ) key to select a
desired valid time. Finally, press (or ) key to confirm.
Voice Mail Box (2-6-3)
Within this submenu, you can store the phone number of your voice
mailbox. You can long press or enter 2-4 Listen Message to dial.
Press (or ) key, then enter the voice mailbox number provided by
your network service provider. Finally, press (or ) key to confirm.
Reply Path (2-6-4)
You can request the network to set the route of replied message via your
own message center.
Press (or ) key and then use the (or ) key to select
“On” or “Off”. Finally, press (or ) key to confirm.
