4.7 Auxiliary Load Control
This section contains the firmware functional specifications related to the auxiliary load control
functionality. The following table highlights the meter models in the SGM3000 Series with their
load control relays.
Table 5 Summary of High Level Options for SGM3000 Meter Variants
General Specifications
The auxiliary load control functionality is applicable SGM3000 models with load control relays.
These are the variants with 32 A or 2 A relays: SGM3013, SGM3022, SGM3023, SGM3033, and
SGM30C2.
For SGM3013, SGM3022, SGM3023, and SGM3033 meters, the load control functionality will
function independently for the 32 A relay and the 2 A relay.
For the SGM30C2 meter, the load control functionality will function for one of the 2 A relays.
The configuration parameters for each relay in the meter providing the auxiliary load control
functionality will be stored independently in NVRAM. All configuration options for the load
control relays will be configurable locally via MeterMate and remotely via the AMI interface. All
configuration options for the load control relays will be configurable remotely via the AMI
interface.
Load Control Relay Visual Status
The state of each of the auxiliary load control relays will be displayed on the meter LCD,
independently for each relay. The load control LCD segment will operate if all three of the
following enable conditions are satisfied:
• Condition 1: The load control relay must be installed in the meter.
• Condition 2: The load control relay function enable flag is enabled.
• Condition 3: The LCD is configured to display the load control relay state.
