7.2.3.7 LCD Time of Use (TOU) Indicator
The illuminated TOU indicator denotes the time of use rate that is currently in effect.
In SGM3022 and SGM3023 meters, the TOU rate is defined separately for each element,
element 1 (EL1) and element 2 (EL 2).

7.2.3.8 LCD Communication Status
This displays the current state of communication via either the Advanced Metering
Infrastructure (AMI) interface or the Home Area Network (HAN) interface.
When the HAN symbol is illuminated, there is an actual data transfer through the HAN port.
This will also illuminate when there is communication between the meter and ZigBee
connected devices.
When the AMI symbol is illuminated, there is an actual data transfer through the AMI port.

7.2.3.9 LCD AMI Signal Strength Status
AMI communication signal strength is portrayed through four levels:
No signal
Low signal
Medium signal
High signal
The communication signal strength is displayed whether or not there is any actual traffic across
the meter AMI port.
