6 Network Connection
AnXOdevicerequiresanIPnetworkconnectionforcommunicationwiththeclientPC,theIPcameras,theCMS
(alarmtransmission),andoptionalperipheralssuchasNetI/Ounits.
TheiFTGatewaycanconnecttotheIPnetwork:
l wired:usinganEthernetcableontheXOdevice'sEthernet port,connectingtoaswitchorrouterinthelocal
network.
YoumustusethewiredconnectionforcommissioningtheiFTGateway.
l wireless:usingthebuilt-inWi-Fi.
Thisfeatureisdisabledbydefault,thereforeyouneedtocommissiontheiFTGatewayusingthewired
