Types of Blades
The grit size and composition of a blade are dependent on the material to be cut. The thinner the
blade, the narrower the kerf. These are blades available in the LNF store.

1.4 SAFETY AND HAZARDS
The chuck on the mounting station operates at 60°C. Therefore, always use
caution when adding or removing samples.
The chamber door and handles are a pinch hazard. Always use caution
when opening and closing the chamber door.
The dicing blade can rotate as fast as 60 krpm and is dangerous to touch. Do
not force open any cover or reach under it. Never touch the edge of a blade;
this can injure you or damage the blade.
