Anoxomat Mark II CTS User’s guide
Foreword
Intended use
The Advanced Instruments Anoxomat Mark II CTS system is an automated system for creating an anaerobic,
microaerophilic, capnophilic, or user-defined atmosphere in an anaerobic jar. The condition is created by evacuating a jar
and filling it again with a (oxygen-free) gas mixture, according to the Method of McIntosh and Fildes.
The Advanced Instruments Anoxomat Mark II CTS system controls this process by means of an embedded computer, and
performs various quality assurance tests to ensure that conditions for optimum bacterial growth are precisely met.
