3.5.1 Basic Configuration
Description:
You can give a more detailed description on the function of the port for easier man-
agement and maintenance. Descriptions have a limit of 128 characters.
Type:
Each EKI-1221/1222/1224 offers 3 kinds of serial interfaces, RS-232, RS-485 and
RS-422. You can use any one of these serial interfaces according to your require-
ments. You must also pay special attention to the wiring scheme of the EKI-1221/
1222/1224 serial connection to make sure it conforms to the serial type you select.
Baud Rate:
The EKI-1221/1222/1224 supports baud rate from 50 bps to 921.6 Kbps. While set-
ting the baud rate, please note that the value should conform to the current transmis-
sion speeds of connected devices.
