9.2. SERIAL CONNECTION
The units of a multi-split system, communicate with
one another in such a way as to coordinate the
operating parameters necessary for the proper
operation of the entire system; to enable this com-
munication is necessary to create a point-to-point,
the outdoor unit to each unit’s internal system (as
shown in the diagram); please note that this serial
line must end with a “termination resistor”, which
will be connected to the final unit of the system
(such resistance is supplied with the outdoor unit).
