17 If you are using a serial printer, set the baud rate, data bits, parity,

stop bits, and handshake to match the settings for your printer.

If you are using a parallel printer, ensure that the checkbox for

“Spool MS-DOS print jobs” is cleared, and that “Check port state

before printing” is checked.
