With the previous points in mind, the amount of attenuation can be calculated from the
following equations:
• Attenuator value = +20 dBm − 13 dB − (−10 dBm). Attenuator Value = +17 dB
3. Choose the S21 measurement parameter by pressing .
4. Connect the attenuator between the B OUT and IN ports.
5. Perform a calibration.
6. Connect the DUT as shown in Figure 1-53 and view the measurement.
