Warranty
This Agilent product is war-
ranted against defects in
materials and workmanship
for a period of one year from
date of shipment. Duration
and conditions of warranty
for this product may be
superseded when the prod-
uct is integrated into
(becomes a part of) other
Agilent products.
During the warranty period,
Agilent will, at its option,
either repair or replace
products which prove to be
defective. The warranty
period begins on the date of
delivery or on the date of
installation if installed by
Agilent.
Wa rra nt y Service
For warranty service or
repair, this product must be
returned to a se rvice facility
designated by Agilent.
For products returned to
Agilent for warranty service,
the Buyer shall prepay ship-
p in g char g e s to A g i l e n t and
Agilent shall pay shipping
charges to retu rn the prod -
uct to the Buyer. However,
the Buyer shall pay all ship-
p in g char g e s, du ties , and
taxes for products returned
to Agile nt from another
country.
Limita tion of War ra nty
The foregoing warranty
shall n ot app ly t o d e f ec t s
resulting from improper or
inadequate maintenance by
the Buyer, Buyer-supplied
products or interfacing,
unauthorized modification
or mi sus e , ope ra ti on out s ide
of the environmental specifi-
cations for the product, or
improper site preparation or
maintenance.
The design and implementa-
tion of any circuit on this
product is the sole responsi-
bili ty of the Buyer. Agilent
does not warrant the Buyer’s
circuitry or malfunctions of
Agilent products that result
from the Buyer’s c ircuitry . In
addition, Agi lent does not
warrant any damage that
occurs as a result of the
Buyer’s circuit or any
defects that result from
Buyer-supplied prod ucts.
To the extent allowed by
local law, Agile nt ma ke s
no other warra nt y,
expre ssed or implied,
whether writ ten or oral
with respect to this prod-
uct and specifically dis-
claims any implie d
warranty or condition of
mer chanta bility, fitne ss
for a particula r purpose
or satisfactory qual ity.
For transactions in Austra-
lia and New Zealand
: The
warranty terms contained in
this statement, except to the
extent lawfully permi tted,
do no t exclude, restrict, or
modify and are in addition

Exclusive Remedies
To the extent allowed by
local law, the remedies pro-
vided herein are the Buyer’s
sole and exclusive remedies.

any direct, indirect, special,
incidental, or consequential
damages (including lost
profit or data), whet her

tort, or any other legal the-
ory.
