Custom impairments
Selecting the Custom Impairments button, located in the Signal Generation Setup
section, shows the following menu, see Figure 32. Each impairment can be enabled or
disabled using the box to the left of the desired impairment. Many of the impairments
in this menu are the same as described for the Dirty Transmitter Test impairments.
However, there are some additional impairments that are offered in this menu.
Note: A dirty transmitter test sequence cannot be created from the Custom Impairments menu.
The symbol timing error is implemented differently in the Custom Impairments menu than in the
Dirty Transmitter impairments menu.
