Universal SC Cutter bar
Switch off the engine
Pull off the sparking-plug connector
Wear protective gloves
Remove the mower knife
• In oscillating mowing unit version:
Loosen the clamping screw (c) and
fold the knife holder (h) upwards
• Pull out the mower knives with the
knife driver from the front
• Clean the cutter bar and lightly
lubricate it with organic lubricating
oil
Put down the mower knives only
when they are in the knife protection bar
Installing the mower knives
• Push the mower knives with the
support of the knife driver from the
front onto the crank block
• Fold down the knife holder. Press
down the knife holders (h) in the di-
rection of the arrow (f) while you are
tightening the clamping screws (c)
very tightly (70 Nm) with a long ring
spanner.
• Check whether the knife guide
needs to be adjusted. Adjust if nec-
essary.
Adjusting the knife guide
To adjust knife projection (d) and
play (g),
• loosen clamping screws (c) and
fixing screws (e)
• move the knife guides as necessary.
Ensure that the guide elements re-
main parallel.
• First, tighten the fixing screws (e).
Next, press down the knife holders
(h) in the direction of the arrow (f)
while you are tightening the clamp-
ing screws (c) very tightly (70 Nm)
with a long ring spanner.
