Adjusting the V-belt tension
Unscrew the fixing nuts (D/10) and remove
the belt guard hood (D/8).
Remove the belt guide (D/7).
Set the safety lever (C/4) to "NEUTRAL"
(release)
Tighten the V-belt pulley with
ing pulley "II" in the swivel wall so that the V-
is normally tight for reverse movement.
Adjust the Bowden cable on the safety lever
(C/4) such that the distance between the outer
diameter of V-
belt pulley "I" and the outer diame-
ter of rubber roller "II" is 5 mm.
Actuate the safety lever for forward move-
ment.
With the safety lever pressed down, adjust
tension roller "III" in the direction of the arrow
until the V-belt is tensioned.
Fit the belt guide (D/7) (see fig. D).
Install the belt guard (D/
clutch lever to be set to "Forward movement".
Do not use commercially available V-belts. Use only genuine Agria spe-
cial V-belts!
Put the machine only into operation when all protective devices are in protec-
tive position!
