POWER
Switch
Depress

Control
For

Slide
the
control
to
the
right
to
increase
the
volume,
MUTING

Depress

button
to
decrease

volume
by
—20
dB.
Useful
for
lower-
ing
the
volume
when
answering
the
telephone,
etc.
Release
the
button
afterwards
to
regain
the
previous
votume
level.
Recording
(REC)
Indicators
Interconnected

REC
SELECTOR.
LOUDNESS
Button
When
listening
at
a
low
volume
level,
the
range
audible
by
the
human
ear
is
limited.
The
loudness
circuit
supplements
this
range
by
boosting
the
bass
and
treble
response.

balanced
sound
at
low
volume,
