Using
AUX
Jacks
1.
Set
the
REC
SELECTOR
to
AUX.
2.
Put
the
tape
deck(s)
connected
to
the
TAPE-1
or
(and)
TAPE-2
jacks
to
recording
standby
mode.
3.
Play
back
the
tape
deck
connected
to
the
AUX
jacks
and
adjust
the
recording
tape
deck(s)’s
recording
input
levels.
4.
Set the
playback
tape
deck
ready
to
play
back
from
the
beginning.
5.
Play
back
the
playback
tape
deck
and
put
the
recording
tape
deck(s)
into
recording
mode.

If
using
a
3-head
tape
deck(s)
for
recording,
turn
on
the
TAPE-1
or
TAPE-2
switch
to
monitor
the
just
recorded
signals
and
turn
on
the
AUX
switch
to
monitor
the
source
signals.

Protection
Circuit
A
protection
circuit
is
incorporated
in
the
AM-U61
to
prevent
breakdown
of
speakers
and
the
AM-U61
itself
which
may
occur
due
to
over
current.
For
this
reason,
when
power
is
turned
on,
no
signal
will
be
output
to
the
speakers
for
few
seconds.
Also,
no
signal
will
be
output
at
all
when
speaker
wires
are
short-circuited.

case,
check
the
connections,
especially
the
cartridge’s
lead
wires
and
the
speaker
wires.
