Use the VALUE UP and DOWN buttons to switch the effect
filter. To create a sound similar to an oboe, use filter "2".
Mixing Source 1 and Source 2
With the EWV2000, it is possible to mix and play two different voices
created with source 1 and source 2. By skillfully creating sounds you
can store a total of 128 voices in the 64 memory banks.
A. Playing only source 1 voices
(1) Press the source 1 LEVEL button and use the VALUE keys to
set the value to "100".
SOURCE-1 OUT:1XX
(2) Press the source 2 LEVEL button and use the VALUE keys to
set the value to "00".
Ex.:
SOURCE-2 OUT: XX
With this setting, it is possible to play only source 1 voices.
B Playing only source 2 voices
(1) Press the source 1 LEVEL button and use the VALUE keys to
set the value to "00".
Ex.:
SOURCE-1 OUT: XX
(2) Press the source 2 LEVEL button and use the VALUE keys to
setthevalueto"100".
Ex.:
SOURCE-2 OUT:1XX
C Mixing the source 1 and source 2 voices
(1) First press the source 2 LEVEL button and use the VALUE
keys to set to a value between "00" and "100" which you feel
is an appropriate level.
Ex.:
SOURCE-1 OUT: 85
(2) Next press the source 2 LEVEL button and use the VALUE
keys to set the value between "00" and "100" which you feel is
an appropriate level.
Ex.:
SOURCE-2 OUT: 92
(3) Now press the source 2 OSC button and set the "FINE"
parameter to set a pitch to match the source 1 voice.
Ex.:
OSC-2 FREQ
OSC-2 FINE

When detuning is performed, it is possible to produce discor
dant sounds or consonant sounds such as 3rds or 5ths. Mixing
the source 1 and source 2 voices creates a heavier sound.
With this setting, it is possible to play only source 2 voices.
