The
EWV2000
envelope
generators
are
equipped
with
two
trigger
modes,
"SINGLE"
and
"MULTCH".
Usually
use
the
"SINGLE"
mode,
but
for
non-legato
and
staccato
pieces
try
using
the
"MULTCH"
mode.
To
select
the
trigger
mode,
press
the
EFFECT
button.
The
display
will
read:

The
envelope
curve
which
has
been
set
is
generated
each
time
you
blow
into
the
mouthpiece
when
playing
non-legato.

An
envelope
curve
is
generated
for
each
note.
If
you
blow
continuously
into
the
mouthpiece,
that
is
if
you
play
legato,
the
envelope
curve
will
be
sustained
at
the
sustain
level
from
the
first
sound.
Because
of
this,
for
a
non-sustained
envelope
curve,
the
effect
will
be
as
if
there
is
no
envelope
curve
for
the following
sounds
and
these
sounds
may
not
be
produced.
Ex.:
Legato
Sustained

Thus,
it
is
difficult
to
play
legato
with
a
non-sustained
envelope
curve.
