1�2�3 Powering off your phone
Press and hold the End/Power key until the screen turns off.
1�3 Home screen
Press the End/Power key until takes you back to the main Home
screen.
1�3�1 Status bar
From the status bar, you can view both the phone status (on the right
side) and notification information (on the left side).
1�3�2 Locking and unlocking your screen
To protect your phone and privacy, you can lock the phone with a
passcode.
To create a passcode
• From the Home screen, press the Center Soft key
to open the
applications list. Select the Settings icon
and then press the
Navigation key to select Privacy & Security > Screen Lock. Select
the On icon
to turn on passcode mode.
• Create and confirm the passcode.
