- Mounting
1) Clean the saw blade and all the clamping parts to be assembled.
2) Tilt back the lower blade guard (8) and hold it rmly with the lower guard
lever (9). Place the new saw blade (18) onto the inner ange ensuring that
the cutting direction of the teeth (direction of arrow on saw blade) and the
direction-of-rotation arrow on the blade guard match.
3) Re-position the outer ange (19) back on the centre of the blade. Use the
supplied wrench (22) to x the spindle. Assemble the washer (20) and the
blade bolt (21) onto the outer ange (19). Use the supplied 6mm hex key
(24) to tighten the blade bolt (21) in a clockwise direction rmly (Fig. L4).
NOTE:
• Take care that the mounting positions of the inner ange and outer
ange are correct.
• When mounting: Ensure that the cutting direction of the teeth
(direction of arrow on saw blade) and the direction-of-rotation arrow on
the blade guard match.
• Blade teeth are very sharp. For best cutting results ensure you use a saw
blade suited to the material and cut quality you need.
