Lifting
Straps should b e used when lifting the hea t exchanger. Place straps acco rding to picture with a
minimum angle of 45 ° .
Warning!
Never lift by the connections or the studs around them.

Raising
This instructi on is valid when raising the he at exchanger after delivery from Alfa Laval. Only use
a strap approved for the weight o f the heat exchange r. Follow the pr inciple of the instructi on
below.
Caution!
The straps s hall be long enough to be able to rotate the heat exchanger without
obstruction. Consi der especially the space for the support column.
Step 1
Place two timber beams on the floor.
