Open the plate pack b y letting the pressure plate glide on the
carrying bar. Usually it is not necessary to remove the plates
to clean them.
Caution!
To avoid hand injuries owing to sharp edg es, protective
gloves should always be worn when handling pl ates and
protection sheets.
Caution!
When opening the plate pack of the models M3, T2 and
TL3, be careful when m ovin g the pressure plate. Make
sure the pressure plate is posit ioned safely from the end
of the carrying bar.
A starlock ring (spare part no. 33500045-45) can be
attached to the end of the carrying bar to make sure the
pressure plate will not pass the end of the carrying bar.
If plates are to be numbered, do this before removing the plates.
Plates ne ed not be removed if cleaning is done using only water,
i.e. without a cleaning agent.
Warning!
The plate pack may sti ll contain a small residua l amount
of liquid after draining. Depending on the type of
product and type of installation, special arrangements,
e.g. drainage box, may be necessary to avoid injury to
personnel and damage to equipment.
