Step 3: Power Up, Configure the Drive, and Spin the Motor Shaft
Drive Setup
Follow these steps to set up each of your drives.
Enter Motor Nameplate Data
1. From the Main Powerup Screen, access parameter 25 [Motor NP Volts].
Press the soft key.
Enter 25 using the numeric keys.
Press the soft key.
2. Use the numeric value from the Motor Nameplate data gather in Step 1: Gather Required Information under
Record
Motor Nameplate Data on page 7 to verify the value on the screen. If a change is required,
Press the soft key.
Enter the nameplate voltage numeric value using the keypad.
Press the soft key.
3. Press on the keypad to advance to the next parameter num

er, and continue to enter the remaining motor data
gathered in Step 1: Gather Required Information in this order.
Parameter 26 [Motor NP FLA]
Parameter 27 [Motor NP Hertz]
Parameter 28 [Motor NP RPM]
