Powering On the Switch
To apply power to the AT-FS716L switch, perform the following procedure:
1. Apply AC power to the switch by plugging the power cord into the AC
power connector on the back panel of the unit, as shown in
Figure 11.
Warning
Power cord is used as a disconnection device: To de-energize
equipment, disconnect the power cord. 5
Caution
Use only safety licensed power supply cord.

2. Plug the other end or the power cord into a wall outlet.
3. Power on the end-nodes.
4. Verify that the POWER LED is green. If the LED is OFF, refer to
“Troubleshooting” on page 34.
The switch is ready for network operations.
