4. Smile B3 Plus
The SMILE B3 PLUS is a modular battery solution intended for residential solar
storage and is capable of being expanded from 5.04 kWh to 30.24 kWh. It has an
all-in-one design that’s pre-engineered to minimise installation time and ensure
ease of interaction, stability, and safety.
It is an AC coupled battery energy storage system (BESS) designed to achieve
optimal usage of solar energy while balancing offsets from the electricity grid.
It utilises excess solar (PV) generation to intelligently charge & discharge the
battery, and can operate under automatic, manual and time-of-use (ToU) modes.
In automatic mode, the SMILE B3 PLUS will store surplus energy in its batteries
and discharge towards house loads averting energy consumption from the grid. It’s
equipped with LED state indicators that capture a wide array of system functions.
Inaddition,thesystemallowstheend-userexibilitytoaddonmorecapacity
based on their energy requirements. The simple plug-and-play installation allows
the installer to connect the additional storage units in quick succession & reduce
overall time spent on-site.
The SMILE B3 PLUS use the safest battery chemistry available on the market –
Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP). As an additional safeguard, software integration is
used to monitor and protect the battery from any potential damage.
The SMILE B3 PLUS has two separate components,
• Primary Unit (SMILE-B3-PLUS) – Battery pack with an Integrated Inverter.
• Secondary Unit (SMILE-BAT-5P) – Battery pack only (optional)
