INSULATING THE HydRAULIC CONNECTIONS
The vibration decouplers and the pipes of the heat source
must be insulated so that they are sealed against vapor dif-
fusion.
NOTICE:
Insulate in accordance with applicable local
standards and directives.
SAFETy COMpONENTS
The safety components are packed in the extra box.
The connections for the safety components are located at
the top rear on the outside of the unit.

ExpANSION vESSELS
The expansion vessel for the heat source is integrated in
the unit.
The expansion vessel for the heating circuit and the corre-
sponding cap valve are included in the scope of delivery. They
must be integrated in the heating circuit on-site in compli-
ance with the applicable standards and directives.
INSTALLATION ON SIzE 2 UNITS
The included compensators must be used for connection
to the pipes:
The compensators also serve as vibration decouplers.
The compensators are packed in the extra box.
Proceed as follows:
We recommend installing a contamination filter
(screen size 0.9 mm) on the heat source inflow
(return flow) connection…
Screw the compensators by hand onto the connec-
tions on the unit until they bear against the rubber
gasket…
Screw the compensators by hand onto the pipes of
the heating circuit and the heat source until they
bear against the rubber gasket…
Using a suitable tool (e.g. a pipe wrench) to tighten
all connections one or two turns to achieve a tight
seal.
Do not overtighten. The rubber part of the com
-
pensators must not become twisted (torsion). This
could cause malfunctions and even serious damage
to the unit.
