OPERATION.
(1)
An
alarm
is
sounded
25
seconds
after
traffic
information
stations
can
no
longer
be
received
(the
TP
indicator
@
turns
off).
lf
a
cassette
or
CD
is
playing,
it
is
paused
automatically
and
the
alarm
is
sounded.
(2)
Use
the
manual
tuning,
seek,
or
auto
memory
functions
to
tune
in
another
station.
(3)
When
the
set
is
in
the
seek
mode,
if
the
UP
or
DN
button
(®
or
©)
is
pressed,
the
set
only
searches
for
traffic
information
stations.
It
either
finds
a
traffic
information
station
or
continues
searching
until
the
seek
mode
is
canceled.

To
search
only
for
traffic
information
stations:
(1)
Press
the
TUNE
switch
@
for
3
seconds.
(2) Press the Preset No. 3 button 42.
The
display
switches
between
“TP
SEEK"
and
“TP
ALARM"
each
time
the
Preset
No. 3 button @ is pressed.

automatically
searches

the
traffic
information
station
with
the
best
reception

(after
the
TP
indicator

turns
off).

When
traffic
information
stations
cannot
be
received,
the
previous
station
is
tuned
back
in.
This
operation
is
performed
again
if
traffic
information
signals
are
cannot
be
received
for
25
seconds.
If
a
station
broadcasting
traffic
information
Is
set,
the
set
also
switches
to
stations
broadcasting
other
programs.

Traffic
information
stations
are
automatically
tuned
in
even
during
playback
of
a
cassette
or
CD.

set
operates

if
both
the
traffic
information
and
A.P.1.
modes
are
set:
The
automatic
follow
operation
is
performed
for
stations
broadcasting
the
same
program
which
are
also
traffic
information
broadcast
stations.
When
traffic
information
stations
cannot
be
received:
In the alarm mode:
An
alarm
is
sounded
after
25
seconds.
lf
a
cassette

CD
is
playing,
it
is
paused
automatically,
the
alarm

sounded,
and
the
radio
mode
Is
set.
Use
the
manual
tuning,
seek,
or
auto
memory
functions
to
tune
in
another
station.
In the seek mode:
The
set
automatically
searches
for
RDS
stations
which
are
also
traffic
information
broadcast
stations.
In
this
case,
it
searches
for
stations
broadcasting
other
programs.
lf
you
no
longer
want
to
hear
traffic
information,
cancel
the
traffic
information
mode
to
return
to
normal
radio
reception.
