CD
OPERATION
The
following
instructions
apply
only
to
systems
that
incorporate
the
Alpine
5952
or
5952S
CD
Shuttle
with
7294R.
Turn
the
unit
on
and
access
the
CD
mode
by
pressing
the
DISC
(
»/I)
button
®.
Initial
System
Turn-On
When
operating
the
system
for
the
first
time
after
installation
or
after
the
vehicle's
battery
has
been
disconnected
and
reconnected,
press
the
Reset
switch
@
with
a
sharp
pencil
or
other
pointed
object.
CD
Display
Switching
In
the
CD
mode,
the
display
will
show
the
Disc
and
Track
Number
(Fig.
1)
or
the
Elapsed
Time
(Fig.
2).
Press
the
DISP
switch
@
to
select
between
the
Disc/Track
number
and
the
Elapsed
Time
indicators.

NOTE:
In
the
A.P.I.
or
T.
INFO
mode,
even
if
the
DISP
switch
@
is
pushed,
the
display
can
not
be
switched.
The
mode
will
be
set
to
the
TUNER
mode
and
the
tuning
is
possible.
Normal
Play
1.
Press
the
DISC
(
»/H)
button
®.
2.
The
Digital
Display
48
will
show
“T-00"
for
a
second,
then
“T-01”
will
be
displayed
and
the
first
track
on
the
first
disc
will
begin
playback.
3.
After
the
last
track
on
the
last
disc
is
played
back,
the
pickup
will
return
to
the
beginning
of
the
first
track
of
the
first
disc
and
begin
playback
from
that
point.

Pause
While
the
disc
is
playing,
press
the
DISC
(
P/E
)
button
®
to
temporarily
stop
playback.
The
Digital
Display
4%
will
show
“PAU”.
To
resume
playback,
press
the
DISC
button
(
p/an
)
®
again.
Music
Sensor
(Skip)
This
feature
allows
you
to
access
the
beginning
of
your
musical
track
selection
simply
and
quickly.
It
is
functional
in
the
play
or
pause
mode.
The
Digital
Display
48
shows
the
track
number
you
have
selected.
e
To
advance
to
the
next
track
on
the
disc,
press
the
PPI
side
of
the
M.S.
-
CD
switch
1.
Playback
stops,
and
the
pickup
moves
up
to
the
beginning
of
the
next
track.
That
track
number
appears
in
the
Digital
Display
48.
