Anomalies de fonctionnement (XEF - Alpine)
OPERATING FAULTS (3/6)
On the road POSSIBLE CAUSES WHAT TO DO
Vibrations. Tyres not inflated to correct pres-
sures, incorrectly balanced or dam-
aged.
Check the tyre pressures: if this is not the
problem, have them checked by an ap-
proved Dealer.
White smoke from the exhaust. This is not necessarily a fault.
Depending on the climate conditions
(cold, humidity etc.), smoke may be
produced under hard vehicle accel-
eration.
Reduce the engine speed and avoid
sudden acceleration to gradually make the
smoke disappear. Otherwise, this may be
caused by another fault. Consult an ap-
proved dealer.
Smoke under the bonnet. Short-circuit or cooling system leak. Stop, switch off the ignition, stand away
from the vehicle and contact an approved
dealer.
