Basic Operation
Press and hold the PWR button for more than 3
seconds.
Press the BAND button and the display shows
"BEEP ON."
Pressing the button again turns the Sound Guide
function off. "BEEP OFF" will be displayed and no
tones will be heard.

Sound Guide Function
This function will give audible feedback with
varying tones depending upon the button
pressed.

Press the F5 button to select the ILLUM mode.

Press the PWR button to activate the normal
mode.
Illumination Control
With the head lights of the car ON, setting the
illumination control to ON decreases the illumination
brightiness of the unit.
If the illumination is too bright during the night, set the
ILLUM to ON.
