1. Before locating the unit on the roof, make sure that
the strength of the roof and beams is adequate to
support the weight involved. (See specication sheet
for weight of units). This is very important and the
installer’s responsibility.

Curb insulation, cant strips, ashing and general roong
material are furnished by the contractor.
Curbing must be installed in compliance with the National
Roong Contractors Association Manual. Construct duct
work using current industry guidelines. The duct work must
be placed into the roof curb mounting the package
unit. See FIGURE 3: ROOFCURB INSTALLATION.
