Adiustments
Adjustment of wheel brakes
1.
Tum
ignition
off
and remove the key;
2.
Tum
the fuel off;
3. Remove the spark plug lead;
4.
Raise the rear wheels clear
of
the ground and block
securely;
5.
Adjust the brake band by rotating 8mm Nyloc nut.
Bands should be as tight as possible without
restricting wheel rotation.
6. Test drive in a safe, open, visible area.
Adjustment of wheel drive belt
The wheel drive unit is powered
by
a separate belt from
the intermediate drive.
Adjustment
of
this is obtained
by
loosening the 16mm
lock nut
A on the idler pulley and rotating the threaded
bolt
8
Correct tension is 6mm deflection with a 1
Okg
pressure
applied to the side
of
the belt midway between the
pulleys.
