Transmission units
To replace the Transmission Belt
A_.
1. Tum the ignition off and remove the key;
2. Tum the fuel off ;
3. Remove the spark plug lead;
4. Loosen belt tension idler pulley;
5. Remove the split pin in the rod A to the drive fork assembly;
6. Remove the drive fork assembly
B by undoing 2 bolts C through the
side
of the chassis;
7. Remove the belt from the idler pulley D and the intermediate drive
pulley
E and replace with a new belt.
8. Assembly is the reverse
of the above procedure.
To replace the Primary Drive belt
1. Tum the ignition off and remove the key;
2. Tum the fuel off;
3. Remove the spark plug lead;
4. Disengage the Cutter Deck drive lever;
5. Loosen the belt tension idler pulley
Don the wheel drive unit;
6. Release the tension spring on the primary drive belt idler assembly;
7. Remove the Cutter Deck drive belt from the engine pulley;
8. Remove the wheel drive unit belt and replace it with a new belt;
9. Remove the primary drive belt and replace it with a new belt.
10 .Assembly is the reverse of the above procedure.
