Overview
This chapter provides a detailed funconal descripon of the board’s components and features.
The "Board Component Locaons" table in Board Component Descripons idenes the
components and references the respecve schemac page numbers. Component locaons are
shown in the "Evaluaon Board Component Locaons" gure in Board Component Locaon.
Component Descriptions
Versal ACAP

The VPK180 evaluaon board is populated with the Versal
®
XCVP1802-2MSELSVC4072 ACAP,
which combines a powerful processing system (PS) and programmable logic (PL) in the same
device. The PS in a Versal ACAP features the Arm
®
agship Cortex
®
-A72 64-bit dual-core
processor and Cortex
®
-R5F dual-core real-me processor. For addional informaon on the

Encryption Key Battery Backup Circuit
The XCVP1802 ACAP U1 implements bitstream encrypon key technology. The VPK180 board
provides the encrypon key backup baery circuit shown in the following gure.
