SETTINGS
SPOT+ pyrometers are shipped in a ‘Secure’ state. The security mode can be
switched via the back panel of the display, or via the webserver. In Secure
Mode, a password is required to change settings on the SPOT+. The default
password is the serial number of the instrument, but this should be changed on
rst use.
EtherNet/IP functions are set to O when the instrument is shipped
from the factory in the Secure state.
3.1 EtherNet/IP Open
SPOT+ communications via EtherNet/IP functions are only available in Open
mode. When EtherNet/IP communications are set to Open, the SPOT+ freely
accepts instructions from any source.
3.2 EtherNet/IP Off
SPOT+ communications via EtherNet/IP functions are disabled when the
communications mode is set to O.
