instructions

CONTINUE
with the

mouse
button
until the copy
is
complete.
During
the
DISKCOPY the
drive is
writing,
reading
and
verifying
data.
If the copy
is

pleted
without a
problem
continue to
1.6.8.
if
a
problem
is
encountered,
try
a
DIFFERENT
DESTINATION
DISK
or
a
DIFFERENT
SOURCE
DISK.
If the
problem
continues,
refer to
1.7

ASSEMBLY
CHECK.

Select the
VOLUME
WORKBENCH
DISK
with the
mouse.
With the
pointer
on the
WORKBENCH
DISK
ICON,
double-click
the
left
mouse
button.
The
WORKBENCH
WINDOW
will
be
displayed.

Select
PREFERENCES.
With the
pointer on
the
PREFERENCES
ICON,
double-click
the
left
mouse
button. The
screen
will
clear and
then display the
WINDOW to
select
preferences.

Position the
pointer
on one
of the
numbers
depicting
the time.
Click the
left mouse
button
once,
move the
pointer to
the
up/down arrows
and then
advance
the
selected
number
with
successive
clicks
of
the left
mouse

is set
on the 24
hour clock.

have set,

TEST
the
WRITE-PROTECT
SENSOR.
Move the
pointer to
the
gadget
marked
SAVE
and
click
the
left
mouse
button.
If
the
SYSTEM
REQUEST
WINDOW
appears and
indicates
that the
disk is
WRITE-PROTECTED,
continue to
1
.6.12.
If
the
preferences
ARE
saved
to
the
disk with
the
write-protect
tab
set
correctly
on
the
disk,
the
write-protect
sensor is
DEFECTIVE.
EXCHANGE
THE
DRIVE
ASSEMBLY.

to SECTION 2,
COMPUTER
DISASSEMBLY.

CANCEL
the
preferences
save.
Move the
pointer to
the
CANCEL
gadget
and
click the
left
mouse
button.
IF
THE
DRIVE
HAS
SUCCESSFULLY
PASSED
ALL
OF
THESE
EXERCISES,

ASSUMED
THAT
IT IS A GOOD
DRIVE.
