Why is the image unclear on my AmScope 150 Microscope?

  If the image in your AmScope Microscope appears unclear, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure that a standard-sized (0.17mm thickness) cover slip is correctly placed on the slide, as the objectives are designed for use with one. If a cover slip is already in place, check that it is the correct size and replace if needed. Also, adjust the aperture to have the light just larger than the size of the condenser. Finally, inspect the lens in the inlet of the head for any stains or dust; if present, clean it using lens cleaner or a nonabrasive, lint-free cloth, and consider using compressed air to remove any remaining particles.

What to do if one side of the field of view is dark on my AmScope 150?

  If you notice that one side of the field of view is darker or the image moves while focusing with your AmScope Microscope, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, make sure that the specimen slide is properly secured to the stage using clips. If the slide is secure, check the nosepiece to ensure it's correctly positioned; turn it until it clicks into place.

How to brighten the field of view on an AmScope 150?

  If the field of view is not bright enough on your AmScope Microscope, there are a couple of things you can check. First, rotate the iris disc diaphragm to allow more light to travel through. Also, ensure that the condenser, objective, eyepieces, and base lens are thoroughly cleaned with lens cleaner or a lint-free, nonabrasive cloth, as any stains, dust, or dirt accumulation can reduce brightness.

Why is one side of the field of view darker on my AmScope 150?
