Why is the field of view not bright enough on my AmScope Microscope?

If the field of view is not bright enough on your AmScope Microscope, first ensure that a light source is being used, as it is required for viewing samples (ring light, built-in illuminator, or gooseneck illuminator). If a light source is present, it may be too dim; try adjusting it to a higher intensity or changing the light source altogether. Also, check for any stains, dust, or dirt on the condenser, objective, eyepieces, or base lens and thoroughly clean all lenses with lens cleaner or a lint-free nonabrasive cloth.
