7. OPERATING THE QUICKMATRIX FROM THE RCS²
7.1 
Before you start seng up your QuickMatriX for the rst me, take some me to think about how you will
be using it. The QuickMatriX oers one operang mode, which results in a versale video producon tool for
live event staging and xed installaon applicaons.
NOTE: We recommend reseng the device to its default values every me you set up your shows or events.
Go to the setup secon to start to set up
your unit. A Setup assistant is available
to help you to correctly adjust all basic
setups of your unit.
7.2 Setup
The device can work in Matrix mode only.


This mode turns your QuickMatriX into a true 8 x 2 scaled matrix, while preserving seamless switching
capabilies.Program 1 and Program 2 outputs can be set to dierent resoluons and rates. Switching between
any of the inputs can be done with the various eects (Cut, Fade, Slides…) and synchronized on both outputs.
