CODE SETUP
• Direct Code Entry
1. Press and hold the device button (TV or DVD or AUDIO) for 5 seconds; the indicator light shall
remain on; then release the button.
2. Enter the 4-digit code from the code tables. After a valid code entry, the indicator flashes once.
For an invalid code, the indicator flashes 8 times quickly and exits setup mode.
NOTE: After finishing entering the valid four digit code, the indicator shall turn off and the remote
Will exit setup mode, any previously learned codes under the same brand will be removed.
• Code Search Entry
1. Press and hold the device button (TV or DVD or AUDIO) for 5 seconds; the indicator light shall
remain on; then release the button.
NOTE: If programming to an Audio/video device that requires a disc, please insert it before proceeding
with setup.
2. Press either [POWER], [CH+] or [CH-] and release; the remote shall send the codes automatically.
3. If the device is controlled, the displaying of “MUTE” or “PAUSE” will be displayed:
 "MUTE" for TV, CBL or SAT
 “PAUSE” for VCR, DVD, CD, DVR or AUDIO
Press [ENT] to save the code; and then the remote shall quit the code setup mode and the
indicator light turns off.
• Code Search by Brand
1. Press and hold the device button (TV or DVD or AUDIO) for 5 seconds; the indicator light shall
remain on; then release the button.
NOTE: If programming to an Audio/video device that requires a disc, please insert it before
proceeding with setup.
2. Press and release the numeric button (1-8) corresponding to desired manufacturer (see table of
following brand search list), such as [1], [2], [3]...[8].
3. Press and release the [CH+] or [POWER] button repeatedly. If the device is controlled, the
displaying of “MUTE” or “PAUSE” will be displayed:
 "MUTE" for TV, CBL or SAT
 “PAUSE” for VCR, DVD, CD, DVR or AUDIO
Press [ENT] to save the code; and then the remote shall quit the code setup mode and the
indicator light turns off.
