The binary programming structure sent back is a succession of 14 bytes described by the structure below.
Within a given byte (BYTE) the bit fields are allocated starting with the LSBs. Consequently in the first byte
sent, bits b0 and b1 encode the measurement mode, bits b2 and b3 the type of metal, and so on.
