TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Dehumidifier does
not turn on/run.

•Checkdehumidifierairfilterandwashorreplace.

compressor is not.
Floatswitchopen. •Iffloatswitchinstalled,checkconnectionsatcontrolboardand
empty condensate pan.
•Ifnofloatswitchinstalled,checkthatthejumperisinstalledat
the float switch terminals on control board.
Coil frosting. •Lackof,orreducedairflow.Check/cleanfilter.
•Inletairconditionsbelow60°F.Usethecontrolknobtoturn
down the dryness setting.
Dehumidifier is not
draining properly.
Drain line or drain
trap blocked.
•Checkthatthedraintrapisinstalledcorrectly.
•Checkthedraintrapanddrainlineforblockagebyslowly
pouring one pint of water into the dehumidifier drip pan located
below the coil.
•Checkdrainlineforcontinuousdownwardslope.
Dehumidifier is
producing hot air.

temperature rise between inlet and outlet.

DEHUMIDIFICATION
1. Check the wiring to any accessories if applicable.
2. Plugunitinandturnon/offswitchtoON.
3. Wait5secondsthenrotatethemaincontrolknobclockwise
totheTESTposition.
4. If set up correctly, the dehumidifier blower will turn on and
thedehumidifierdamperoutputwillturnon.After3minutes
the dehumidifier compressor will turn on. The blower and
compressorwillremainonfor1minuteinTESTmode.After
1 minute has elapsed, the dehumidifier blower and compressor will turn off and the dehumidifier
damper output will turn off.
5. TheStatusLEDwillblinkredandgreenalternatelyifthecontrolknobhasbeenleftinTESTafterthe
compressor has turned off.
ADJUSTING DEHUMIDIFIER SETTING
1. Usethecontrolknobontheunittosetthedesireddrynesslevel.
•Basedonindoortemperature,useTable 1 to determine the control knob setting to achieve the
desired humidity level.
•Formostinstallations,startwithasettingintheNORMALrange.See Figure 3.
•MovingtheknobclockwisetowardsMOREwillincreasedehumidifierruntime,allowingforlower
humidity levels.
•MovingtheknobcounterclockwisetowardsLESSwilldecreasedehumidifierruntime,allowingfor
higher humidity levels.
