Ascom Myco 3 Troubleshooting Scenarios
Sound volume
Fault Probable Cause Action
No ringtone/sound when a call/
message is received.
The loudspeaker is defective. Use the integrated diagnostic
tool to check if the speaker is
working. If then the speaker is
faulty, send in the handset for
repair.
NOTE: The "Phone" test on
cellular model in Factory mode
initiates the emergency call. The
test should be taken place only in
controlled environment.

Multifunction buttons
Fault Probable Cause Action
Nothing happens when the
button is pressed.
"Disengage button" functionality
is chosen for the button.
Configure the button through
Settings > Ascom setting >
Button configuration> Define
action for button. Choose any
rather than "Disengage button".

The button functionality is not
configured.
Configure the button through
Settings > Ascom setting >
Button configuration> Configure
custom intent.
