The
previous

program

POSITION
statement. The GRAPHICS 0
statement
causes
the
display
to
be
cleared. Line

cursor

position
of
the
cursor.
As
a result,
the
value

is
displayed
four
lines
from
the
top
of
the
display

statement

generally
used
to
display
characters
on
the screen,
but
a PRINT
statement
can
be
used
to
output
characters
to
any
output
device
.

PRINT
statement

include
numeric
variable
names
and
string
variable
names,
as
well
as
string
and
numeric
constants.
String
constants must
appear
in
quotation
marks.
Items
within
a PRINT
statement
must
be
separated
by a
comma

a
semicolon.
A
semicolon
causes
the
values
to
be
printed
on
the
same
line,
without
any spaces
between
items. A
comma
causes
the
next
item
to
be
printed
at
the
next
column
stop
location.
