good
practice
to
lock
the
DO
S.SYS
and DUP.SYS files.
G. Unlock File
The
Unlock
File
operation
is
used
to
unlock
one
or
more
disk
fil
es
pr
eviously
locked
with
Lock File.
When
the
Unlock
File
operation
is
specified, the
following
prompt
will
appear:
WHAT
FILE
TO
UNLOCK?
The file specification
of
the file
to
be
unlo
cked
should
be
entered.

DOS File
The
Write
DOS File
operation

to
copy
DOS 1.0
or
2.0

a diskette. In
DO
S version 1.0,

DOS.SYS
file
is
copied. In
DO
S version
2.0,
the DOS.
SYS
and DUP.
SYS
files are
cop
ied.
DOS
is
copied
from
the
comp
uter
's memory,
not
directly
from
a
diskette
during
th e
Write
DOS
Fil
e
operation.
In
DOS 1.0, the
following
prompt
appears
when
Write
DOS File
is
specified.
TYPE
"Y"
TO
WRITE NEW DOS
FILE
