The
command
value
(as
specified in Table 5-4) indicates the
operation
to
be
performed.
The
channel
specified must have
been
previously
opened
for
input
or
output
(with
the
exception
of
XIO 3).
The
numeric
expressions
(a,
b) are
not
always used by
XIO,
however
,
they
must always be present
as
parameters. The
applicable
numeric
expression values are given in Tables 5-4, 5-5,
5-6, and 5-7.
The final parameter,
device, specifies
the
device
to
be used
for
the
input
/
output
operat
ion.
