1. The
computer's
built-in
speaker
will
so

time.
This
is
a signal to th e
operator
to place
th
e cassette
containing
th e
program
to
be
lo
aded in the
Atari
410
Program
Recorder.
2.
Use the
rewind
and
fast f
orward
keys
to
position
the tape
to
th e area o n
the
tape near the
beginning
of
th
e
pro
gram . It is
a
good
practice
to save a
program
at
the
beginning
point
of
a tape
as
it is then easy to loca t
e.
For
programs
not
recorded
at
the
beginning
of
a tape,
the
410's
tape
cou
nter can
be
used
to
locate a
program's
beginning
position.

Once
the
beginning
po
s
ition
of
th
e
program
on
the
tape
is
l
ocated,
the
play
button
on
th
e 410
Program
Recorder
sh
ou
ld be pressed. Also, the
Return
key
on
the
Atari
co
mput
er's
keyboard
must
be
pressed
to
s
ign
al
the
co
mput
er
that th e casset te is ready.
4. The casse tt e tape will
then
begin
moving
as
the
program
is
l
oaded
into
memory.
By
turnin
g
up
the
volume
on
your
monitor
or
televisi
on
se
t,
you
ca
n
actually
h
ea
r th e
program
being
l
oaded.
You will h
ea

ruption

of
so

followed
by
long
periods
of silence.
