Adjusting exterior lighting
The functions are selected in the radio or in the MM/*.

Co ming h o m e
The Coming home function ensures that after turning off the igni-
tion and open ing the driver's door
the vehicle periphery is il lumi -
nated in t he dark. In addition, the front fog lights, the ta il lights and
the license plate light are turned on. On-time can be set for a period
from
O (off) to 60 seconds .
Le a vi ng hom e
The Leaving home function ensures that when unlocking the vehicle
periphery is illuminated in the dark. In addition, the front fog lights,
t he tail ligh ts and the license plate light are tu rned on . This function
can be turned on and off .
A uto headlight s
When the light switch is in the AUTO~ page 55 position, the switch-
on po int of the lights can be changed in the automatic driving light
function.

D ayt im e running light s*
The daytime running lights can be turned on or off using this func -
tion. If the function is active, the daytime running lights are turned
on automatically when the ignition is switched on .

The Coming home/Leaving home function is avai lable only with the
switch in the AUTO position . •
Daytime running lights
When you turn on the ignition the daytime running lights
w ill come on automatically.

The daytime running lights are activated when the light switch

The daytime running lights are activated when the light switch
~ page 55, fig . 51 is in the O position, ooo: position or the AUTO posi -
tion (only in day light conditions). The daytime running lights func -
tion cannot be t urned off.

Never use daytime running light s to see w here you are going. They
are not bright enough and w ill not let you see far enough ahead for
safet y, especially at du sk or when it is dark . Be aw are of changes
in out side light conditions w hen you are dr iving and respond by
switching on your low beam s
