Motorhome exterior
The roof of your motorhome is a moulded, highly polished fibreglass skin. This is very easy to clean due to its
high gloss finish. To maintain this showroom finish, wash the motorhome regularly with a mild detergent, rinse o
with cold water and leather o. A good quality car wax may be applied which will make washing even easier in the
future. Abrasive cleaning agents must never be used to clean the exterior of Auto-Trail vehicles.
Within the first twelve months, cracks and blisters may appear in the surface of the moulded GRP components.
These are cosmetic only and have no eect on the vehicle structure. These components can be readily repaired
using the correct procedure (please refer this to your supplying dealer). Please refer to the relevant section of
your base vehicle handbook for advice on preserving the painted metal panels of your vehicle.
Please note: It is not safe to walk on the moulded fibreglass roof of your vehicle.
Cleaning
To clean your interior side walls, roof lining and furniture, all that is needed is a simple wash with mild detergent.
Carpets should be vacuumed occasionally to remove grit and sand. This helps maintain a good appearance and
ensure long life.
