Beneath the power pins are four digital input
pins. These are 24 V IEC 61131-2 Type-3 current
sinking inputs, for use with PNP type sensors or
outputs.
The robot and the outputting device should
share a common ground, to ensure all signals are
referenced to the same level.
There are four 24 V IEC61131-2 sourcing output pins on the base I/O,
accompanied by four ground pins:
